International Symposium on Sustainability Science: Towards a Sustainable and Resilient Society
The International Symposium on Sustainability Science: “Towards a Sustainable and Resilient Society”, hosted by UNU and the University of Tokyo, is part of a series organized by the Sustainability Science Consortium (SSC).
The morning program will include keynote speeches by Prof. Hiroshi Komiyama (former president of the University of Tokyo), Ryutaro Yatsu (Japan’s Vice-Minister for Global Environmental Affairs) and Prof. Kazuhiko Takeuchi (UNU Senior Vice-Rector). The afternoon programme will include sessions on (1) “International Policy Dialogue on the Role of Sustainability Science” and (2) “Toward Innovation of Social Systems through Sustainability Science”.
